An Optimistic Approach!

Admit to your mistakes.
Learn to say “I admit, it was my fault”
Hold yourself responsible for whatever good or bad happens in your life.

When all this is done, When you accept the fact that you are a human and every human is bound to make mistakes, learn the art of forgiving others because everyone is a human being and so even others are bound to make mistakes.

Most of us if not all put the blame on god for whatever wrong happens to us.
Did we ever notice that how is god to be blamed for what went wrong. It is simply our own mind which allows or rather forces us to follow a way and if the way shows us darkness then why to blame someone for it? Why?
We should rather thank god for those precious moments he made us live in our lives.
Life may be termed precious but moments are priceless. Live them when they are there for you, you might not get a second chance.

Something which would be following is just a fiction. Without relating it to anyone’s personal life, here it goes.

It’s a story about a man named Albert who had a son named Brian. His wife had died years ago. They were not rich enough to enjoy their lives as others did. Sometimes even the basic necessities were hard to arrange. It was tougher for Albert because the son would have a new demand, a new wish to be fulfilled every next day.

What to do? How to get on? These were some of the questions that would constantly creep up his mind. What he used to think was that if god had made him rich or if he had been brought up in a rich family then his son wouldn’t have starved for every single penny. He kept cursing god for giving him such a miserable life, but that wouldn’t solve the purpose.
One day he thought that he would rob someone. He thought that there is no other way to deal with his poverty. Few days later he somehow managed to convert his thought into a final decision.
His next step was to search for a person whom he would rob. One fine day he saw an old lady getting out of a chauffeur driven car asking for some help as her car broke down and her chauffeur was unable to fix the problem. Albert thought of helping the lady and came forward. He fixed the problem and the lady thanked him giving him her card.

Few days later he called her up thinking that she might help him getting a good job. He met her the next day after talking to her on phone.

What can I do for you Mr. Albert?
Madam, I am in need of a job that can help me feed my son. She told him that she had one servant and won’t mind having another. Albert agreed to her offer. Serving her for days, he realized that she was all alone in her house. Her husband had died years back and her son was usually off on some business trips. It was as if he got a direction to his plan of robbing someone.
One day when the lady was asleep, he decided to turn his plan into action. He took a knife in his hand and walked towards the safe in the old lady’s room. He tried opening it up but the noise broke her sleep. She was awake now. He threatened her keeping the knife on her neck and asked for the keys. The lady handed the keys of the safe to him without much of an argument. Albert was shocked seeing this reaction of the lady but at that time he was more concerned about the money.

While he was busy collecting money from the safe the lady noticed his reflection in a mirror. The mirror had an image of a person holding a knife in his hand. As he was leaving, the old lady said, “Son, you must be wondering why I didn’t say anything to you. Do you think I got scared by that knife in your hand? I hardly have few more years left with me so why would it scare me?
You told me that you had a son and you wanted to earn money for him. Now, having this money in your hand can you say you have earned it for him? Can you? Ask this question to yourself and try answering it. Would your son feel proud of his father after having his image being printed in a newspaper holding a knife in his hand and accused of robbing an old lady?”

He dropped the bag down and his eyes were filled with tears. He felt guilty. The lady told him not to loose heart. Even he would have his day.

“Work hard for whatever you want to have in life and hold yourself responsible for everything wrong you do. Learn to admit your faults.”

What more could the lady say, she handed him the bag he had robbed as a gift for his son. That day changed his life. He became more responsible and a better father for his son.

It’s the way we think and take things that they appear in front of us. What’s required is a change in our vision.

An optimistic approach can help make impossible things possible but what’s required is to be an optimist.
